
About Doctor:
Vida Abarghouei is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) in good standing with the BCACC and a full member of the CCPA since 2015. Her approach to counselling is strengths-based, client-centered, relational, trauma-informed, and grounded in a humanistic philosophy. She provides clinical counselling for individuals, couples, and families experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, work-related stress, anger management, and relationship issues. Vida also specializes in helping ICBC clients recover from motor vehicle accidents by addressing PTSD symptoms, sleep difficulties, and emotional distress, alongside collaborative return-to-work planning. Her clinical approach integrates CBT, DBT, ACT, EFT, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Bowen Family Systems Therapy, Adlerian Therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions to support clients in building resilience and regaining daily functioning.
